1. Pre-plant incorporated (PPI) or pre-emergence (PRE) application followed by other herbicide(s) in integrated weed management programs, overlapping residual and PRE followed by postemergence herbicide program recommendations: 

  • Apply MOCCASIN MTZ PPI or PRE at 1.76–2.67 pt/A on coarse- and medium-textured soils to control or suppress labeled weeds up to 30 days after application. 
  • MOCCASIN MTZ minimum use rate on soils with greater than 3% organic is 2.67 pt/A. 
  • MOCCASIN MTZ rate ranges from 3 to 4.56 pt/A on fine textured soils classified as silty clay, silty clay loam, clay, clay loams.

 

2. Reduced and no-till and burndown use recommendations: 

  • MOCCASIN MTZ may be tankmixed with appropriately labeled burndown herbicide(s). In all tank mixtures, the most restrictive of the tank-mix product label directions, precautions and restrictions will apply. 
  • Use low rate range for low residue levels or soils with less than 3% organic matter. Use higher rate range for high residue level or soils with greater than 3% organic matter.

 

3. Restrictions: 

  • On soils with a pH greater than 7, do not apply this product at rates greater than 1.75 pt/A.
  • To avoid crop injury, actual soybean planting depth should be 1.5 inches.
  • Do not apply product after crop emergence, including cracking.
  • Soybean plants may be grazed or fed to livestock 40 days after the last application of MOCCASIN MTZ.
