Three of UPL plants participated in the prestigious IGMC - India Green Manufacturing Challenge organized by IRIM and performed exceedingly well. The UPL-1 Ankleshwar Plant won the APEX Award (Gold = highest in the category), UPL-2 Ankleshwar Plant won the Gold Award and UPL-Vapi Plant won the Silver Award.
