Puneet is Co-Managing Partner and Country Head of India of TPG Capital Asia. Prior to joining TPG in 2002, he was the Chief Executive of the Private Equity group of GE India and a member of the Project and Corporate Finance group at ICICI Limited. He serves on the Boards of Directors of several TPG portfolio companies including Jana Capital, Manipal Hospitals, Shriram Capital, Union Bank of Colombo, RR Kabel, and Sai Pharma. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
