A plant growth regulator, ROYAL MH-30 XTRA controls tuber sprouting and can help reduce shrinkage in storage, improving the quality and marketability of potatoes. Timely applications can help reduce the number of undersized potatoes left in the field at harvest and can reduce the number of volunteer potatoes the following spring.

POTATOES

  • Ground application: 12.6 L in a minimum of 300 L of water per hectare
  • Aerial application: 12.6 L in a minimum of 100 L of water per hectare

 

Timing: apply when the smallest tubers that will reach harvestable size are at least 5 cm in diameter. Timing may occur within 2-3 weeks past full bloom and 2 weeks before expected date of topkill or first frost. Apply no later than 10 days before topkill

 

ONIONS
  • Ground application: 8.36 L in a minimum of 300 L of water per hectare

 

Timing: apply when bulbs are fully mature with 5-8 green leaves and have necks soft enough for the tops to fall over, approximately 10-14 days before harvest. Apply no later than 10 days before harvest.
